My name is Patty Allison Fairweather, I am a dedicated trustworthy attorney and mediator who maximizes the value of my mediation training to also provide legal services. I am licensed to practice law in both Rhode Island and Connecticut and have practiced law since graduating from Boston College law school in 1997. I offer personalized legal services with a focus on a just outcome that serves to leave a positive impact on your life. I am also a Real Estate Broker licensed in Rhode Island and since 2014 have been helping individuals and businesses purchase, lease, and sell properties.

My Well-being Interests

My well-being activities include Bible study, yoga, meditation, experimental cooking of foods from various cultures, and Constitutional law. I like writing poetry and performing spoken word. I had the honor of performing spoken word on the late great Judge Kenneth “Lucky” Peterson’s last album, 50 Just Warming Up! track “Amazing Grace.”

Career and Academic Achievements

In addition to my law degree, I have a bachelor’s in English Literature from Rhode Island College and I have obtained a master’s degree in homeland defense and security from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. I also published “Judicial Review: State Supreme Judicial Views on Balancing Civil Liberties and Public Safety/Security Measures During the Global War on Terror.”
